In our society today, we are constantly surrounded by technology. Most of us spend a good majority of our day either talking or texting on the phone, scrolling through our differing social media news feeds, or doing something on our computer. You and I both know its true and if it wasn’t you wouldn’t be looking at this blog post right now! Because of the strong hold technology has on us we can sometimes forget to step away from our screens and have face to face social interaction. The following article, taken from the Huffington Post, reminds us of some very necessary social skills that are quite essential for success: [https://www.huffingtonpost.com/doug-a-sandler/10-social-skills-essentia_b_7203280.html?utm_hp_ref=small-business&ir=Small+Business](https://www.huffingtonpost.com/doug-a-sandler/10-social-skills-essentia_b_7203280.html?utm_hp_ref=small-business&ir=Small+Business). I hope that after reading this you will close you laptops, put your phone aside for a bit, and put these skills into practice!
