Qbox vs Dropbox and FileShare

Written by Alison Garcia | Jun 21, 2013 12:59:50 AM

Accountants across the country have been sharing their frustration regarding attempting to use a file share resource, such as Dropbox and FileShare, to collaborate with their QuickBooks clients. The primary frustration comes from the opportunity to create multiple conflicting copies as they are not aware when their client is accessing the file. In most cases, they are having to email or call the client to make sure they are not working at the same time thus causing this issue.

With Qbox, this is never an issue. The unique “locking” technology ensures that users know when the files is available and not currently being accessed by other shared users. Additionally, Qbox users can access their file directly from the QuickBooks company menu without having to go through a series of folders and directories.
