We have been notified by Amazon Web Services, the hosting company for the Qbox cloud servers, that they are experiencing some sort of issue with their servers which they are aware of and should be resolved reasonably soon. This may have caused your Qbox to display a “Sync Error” as your local Qbox client is not able to successfully transmit any changes/updates.
In the interim, if you have locked and done any work on a file, your data is protected and will be properly transmitted to the cloud and your shared users once the Amazon servers come back on line.
In the interim, if you would like to initiate work on any files not previously locked, please make sure to communicate with your shared users to verify they have not locked the file as well.
We appreciate your patience and will post an update as soon as we receive confirmation from Amazon that the issue has been resolved. (your Qbox will successfully sync without any additional steps as well).
